Puzzle Books

Chess books that focus on developing your problem solving skills rather than teaching theoretical knowledge. Most online resources for chess puzzles are bad, and the material handpicked by Grandmasters in books far surpasses anything available for free in both problem quality, analysis quality, and annotations, which are often nonexistent online.

Books on tactics include those that talk about how to calculate rather than focusing on problem solving. Those in the puzzles and studies section are devoted purely to problems and collections of puzzles.
