As a club player, this is one of the best "specifically intermediate" tactics books out there.

Nearly all of the puzzles selected are notably beautiful and unique, and this stays consistent out throughout the different sections. Many intermediate players who have completed thousands of tactics will not have seen many of the patterns in this book.

Warning: because of the beauty of these selections you are very at risk of reinvigorating your chess addiction if it is dormant!

One critique I have is that the harder puzzles become quite difficult for a club player, and the puzzles have too many moves for them to be practical for a "woodpecker method" regimen (for those who love spaced repetition). Since these harder puzzles are still educational and quite mind blowing, this wasn't a huge downside for me.

If you need additional convincing, check out the reviews on Chessable. This book and its author are highly underrated!
