The Panov-Botvinnik Attack

This remarkable g6 Panov was played between Gelfand with white and Morozevich in 2002. The g6 Panov is all about the structure. In this position, on move 29 for Morozevich, white had the typical c3-d4 center and an extra pawn, but black has a safer king, the two bishops, and much more active rooks. How would you evaluate all the imbalances? Who is better and why?
