“The Mammoth Book of The World's Greatest Chess Games” by Graham Burgess, John Nunn and John Emms. The authors went through this complicated voting process to select the greatest chess games of all time. You will not see any Morphy games as one of their criteria is that they want high quality from both sides. The real star of the book is the games as they are meticulously curated and are accompanied by quite good annotation. One thing I can say about this game compilation is that it is hard to get more bang for your buck when its now boasting over 125 annotated games. At the time of this review, this book can be picked up on kindle for a song. For the price, it is a stunning collection of games.
