As a Cuban, José Raúl Capablanca has always been my chess hero, so I was destined to love this collection from the start. The book brilliantly captures the natural simplicity and almost effortless, logical play that I have always admired and felt a deep affinity toward. Watching his methodical technique unfold in these endgames is nothing short of a masterclass in structural clarity. Most practically, with its abundance of diagrams at critical junctures, the book is perfectly set up for active 'Guess the Move' training rather than just passive reading.
